Green Chilli Indian Takeaways

My first time going to Green Chilli another customer picking up their takeaway proclaimed they made the best curry in town. Since then, I have returned again and again. Each time, giving more credit to the vouching customer. My go to is usually either a kiwi hot or Indian hot lamb saag curry, with garlic naan, and a mango lassi. In a city filled with lots of great Indian spots, Green Chilli stands out, their service makes for a great atmosphere and their food is most certainly made with love. Best curry in hatatai for me. Fresh, flavourful, good quality and generous meat proportions. Naan bread still steaming from the oven. Everything is lovely. The staff have always been welcoming and so helpful.

There wasn’t a single weak link in this meal. The tikka paneer was creamy with a nice spice level; the butter chicken was the highlight; the naan bread was soft and flavorful, and the bhaji was crispy and light. A faultless takeaway with prompt delivery time! **Every picture was taken after we had already started eating the meal, so pictures are not true to the real portion size

Truly delicious! Hands down the best curry in Wellington. Highly recommend the saag paneer & chef’s special chicken curry. Also, lovely people.

Travel from Strathmore to come here! Always delicious every time. Had the lamb Rogan josh and the chicken saag tonight along with a few sides. The curry is thick and full of flavour and everything was splendid! Cheesy garlic naan is to die for! So much cheese. The staff inside are always super friendly and kind. 10/10 will always return. Best curry in Wellington
